11/5 Room Dimensions

Now it is time to make our work a bit more practical.  You will be using the tape measure or ruler I told you to get the other day.

For this assignment you will draw an outline of your bedroom and dimension it.  It would be perfect if you could make a copy of the Orthographic paper (at the bottom of my Canvas STEAM page) and print if off at home, however I understand you may not have a printer at home.  If not just do the best you can. Make sure to draw in your furniture as well (beds, chair, TV, night stands, etc.)  Make sure to measure and mark your closet.

If you are not at home at the time you will need to complete this when you get home.  What you can do is make the drawing of all the furniture now and when you get home measure your bedroom.

After you complete it compute the area of your room ( Area= Length x Width) and draw in your furniture.

DO NOT LOSE THIS PAPER BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED IT LATER and you will bring it to school on MONDAY.
